Maple Cereal Mix

12 oz. Rice Chex
8 oz. Pretzels
3 cups Amber Maple Syrup
12 oz. Corn or Wheat Chex
2 sticks Butter
9 oz. Cheerios
3 cups Peanuts
Melt butter and maple syrup, then add peanuts. Pour over cereal mix, stir to coat mixture. Bake at 325 degrees, stir every 15 minutes until dry(approximately 45 minutes).


 Rob’s Maple Lemonade

1 cup Amber Maple Syrup
1 cup real Lemon Juice
6 cup Water
(Of course experiment with grades of maple syrup to get your desired maple flavor)


Mapled Pork Chops

6 Pork Chops 1″ thick
1 tbsp Vinegar
1/2 cup Maple Syrup
1/2 tsp Chili Powder
1 cup chopped Onion
1/4 cup Water
1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
1/8 tsp Pepper
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Lightly brown pork chops. Arrange in flat baking dish. Mix together onion, vinegar, Worcestershire Sauce, chili powder, pepper, maple syrup, and water. Pour over pork chops. Cover. Bake 45 minutes, basting occasionally. Uncover. Bake 15 minutes more. Remove chops to platter. Thicken sauce with flour. Pour over chops.

Ioka Valley Farm Meat Loaf

2 lbs. Ioka Valley Farm Ground Beef
1 cup dry Bread Crumbs
1/2 cup Milk
1 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Pepper
1/2 tsp ground dry Mustard
1/4 tsp dried Sage
1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
1 small Onion, chopped
1 large Egg
Mix all ingredients together. Shape into a loaf and place in a 13″x9″ pan. Spread Ioka Valley Farm BBQ Sauce over top and bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour or until the thermometer reads 160 degrees. Remove from pan and serve. Extra BBQ sauce may be added at the table. Enjoy!

Maple Stew

1 1/2 lbs. Ioka Valley Farm Ground Beef
1/2 lb. Bacon
1 large can Whole Tomatoes
1 can(15 oz.) Dark Kidney Beans, drained
2 medium Onions
1/2 Cup Ioka Valley Farm Maple Syrup
Salt and Pepper to taste
Cut bacon into 1″ squares and brown in frying pan. Remove bacon, drain, and discard grease. Brown beef and add all the other ingredients into a large, heavy pan. Simmer for 45 minutes. Stew should be prepared a few hours before serving for best flavor.


Maple Cheesecake

8 oz. Cream Cheese – softened
8 oz. Whipped Topping
1/2 Cup Maple Sugar
1 Premade Graham Cracker Pie Crust
Mix all ingredients together and pour into the pie crust. Let chill overnight. Sprinkle top with Maple Sugar before serving.
The Maple Cheesecake filling is also great to use as a frosting on cupcakes and makes a unique fruit dip as well.

Maple Bread Pudding

2 Cups Milk
2 Eggs
3/4 Cup Maple Syrup
1 tbsp Butter
1 tsp Vanilla
1 Cup Bread Cubes
Optional Ingredients:
1 Orange Rind
1/2 Cup Raisins
1 diced Apple
1/2 Cup Walnuts
1 ripe Banana
1/2 Cup dried Cranberries
Scald milk with butter. Add small amount to eggs and mix, then add all ingredients together. Butter crock-pot. Add pudding to crock-pot after adding extra optional ingredients. Cook on low 4 hours. Enjoy!


Maple Balsamic Vinaigrette

2 tbsp Olive Oil
2 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
2 tsp Maple Syrup
2 tsp Grainy Mustard
Salt and Pepper to taste
In small bowl, whisk oil, vinegar, syrup, mustard, salt, and pepper until well-blended.

Alternate Method:
Combine ingredients in small jar with lid and shake.

Makes 1/3 cup. Keep refrigerated for 1-2 weeks.
